Page Review:
To start with the review of the website, I used Internet Explorer 9 with 1 mbps connection. The review enviroment was windows 7 Home premium and a laptop with i5 processor and 4GB ram.
Loading time is pretty fast and the front page was not cluttered as compared to other shopping sites. Drop drown menu contains all the list of products which they were selling. So it gave rest of the page a neat appearance.
Top selling products are available in the main page itself. I checked the time taken to move a particular product home page, it was equally fast when compared to other websites. Popular brands with pictures could have helped a new user to get an idea, but they are available in the left so user can select it.
Dropdown list which shows the categories and brands where more decent, but it is not very convienient for a new user to imagine it would be available there.
Finding Canon EOS 550D camera in flipkart.com when compared to other website (indiaplaza.in):
I could notice Camera section in both website, but flipkart was little more elegant since in indiaplaza I felt the details are more cluttered and with lot of colors.
Flipkart had only the details of the camera in its camera home page which attracted me as a normal user. People would definitely like to buy its accessories while looking for a camera not a photoframe, I guess indiaplaza should improve in it.
I had to select canon, I found it in right side of the flipkart camera page, but for indiaplaza I had to click twice. But later I found the brands were given down the page which i need to scroll. Pictures of the brands will give a good information to a beginner.
I am not commenting about the navigation since I found this camera in front page of flipkart but that could be by chance or random display.
Image was bigger in flipkart with different views. It had a good summary and review video in it from youtube. Flipkart contains reviews as well and accessory list was better than indiaplaza though both their prices were same.
Both were offering freeshipping and add to cart in that page it self.
Flipcart has given recommendations while indiaplaza gave other canon camera list. Both had its plus points
One good thing I found in Indiaplaza is the "Tip or information about DSLR" which was nice. A person who is not a pro would find this input effective
Price Review:
Both the website had same price, but number accessories are more in flipKart
Cash on delivery is a major attraction in flipKart
